Looking back at her Mean Girls days, it is difficult to imagine that Lindsay Lohan would actually ever be the distressed, jobless damsel that she has turned out to be. Just when we thought that she would be the next big thing in Hollywood, she went astray.
Anyway, if you are tired of hearing all the bad news about the girl and her endless antics, then I’ve got some news, which I’m sure you’ll find refreshing. After what seems like forever, Lindsay finally has something going positively for her, as she has been chosen as the spokesperson of a clothing line.
The sad part, however, is that the clothing line is one that hardly anyone knows about. It’s named ‘Phillip Plein’, and sounds to be pretty ‘plain’ indeed. Anyway, what’s interesting is that whoever is behind this clothing line seems to have a set formula to draw publicity to his clothes.
From what it seems, he has a habit of using girls who have been in the news for all the wrong reasons as his spokespersons, just to hog the limelight that shines on them. His previous muse was Mischa Barton, and now it’s Lindsay Lohan. Need we say more?
Anyway, this might be just what Lindsay needed to escape the mad life that she seems to have been living for years now. All that we can hope is that this change works well for her, and marks the beginning of the revival of a career that seems to be shrinking into oblivion.
Since news about Lindsay can just not be complete without a mention of something bad that this bad girl has been up to, I’m going to sign off on a negative note, with this last tidbit. Apparently, she has been staying true to her image, by being on her worst behavior at the New York Fashion Week. Photographer Terry Richardson took full advantage of her audacious display, clicking pictures of her in all sorts of formidable poses.
Now that sounds like a nice piece of ‘Lindsay news!’ If you need a break from all this, I suggest you to watch a really good episode of King of the Hill online.

Well, that is what this space is for- to tell you things about the show that you don’t know despite watching it ever so fervently.
